The Radiologic Technology/Fluoroscopy Program’s assists current California X-ray Technician permit holders to begin at the most advanced point possible toward completing the Radiologic Technology/Fluoroscopy Program. At East Los Angeles Occupational Center, students meet the State required curriculum hours for Diagnostic Radiologic Technology program through transfer of credit and work experience.

The Radiography Program of East Los Angeles Occupational Center is currently accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology in a "Probationary Status." We are working to rectify the deficiency and obtain a more suitable evaluation from our accrediting body.
- Having a misdemeanor or other felony conviction(s) may restrict an individual’s eligibility from ARRT certification. Contact the ARRT Ethics Department at (651) 687-0048 ext. 580 or their website www.arrt.org for any questions or concerns regarding this matter.
- All internship sites require criminal background checks and/or drug screenings. Prior to the onset of the program, potential candidates will undergo a background check administered by Los Angeles County Health Services (LAC-USC Med Center HR). Findings could result in internship sites refusing a student’s participation and/or prohibit the continuation/starting in the program. Additionally, candidates are responsible for providing proper documentation for the fingerprinting (DOJ and FBI) requirements. Be advised that enrollment in this program without a social security number may hinder ability to start/complete externship and/or eligibility status for the state/national licensing requirements.
